Why Hemp

 

Naturally chemically free it requires no pesticides or herbicides to grow and is antibacterial along with anti fungal. Absorbs more Co2 than any other plant slowing down the effects of global warming. Hemp requires half the acreage to produces 3x more fibre than cotton. The water foot print is one third the water foot print of cotton saving 80% water. Hemp regenerates the land and can be rotated on the same land for many years without depleting it. The fibre itself is 4x more durable than cotton and is resistant to UV minimising out tees from fading from the sun. Hemp allows us to design each shirt with intentions of creating pieces that can be passed down through generations, with minimal waste and minimal carbon footprint.
